Bibi Timmerman

Bianca was always a little different. As a child, she wore her beaded necklace as a hippie headband instead of around her neck. While other kids played with Barbies, she asked for a toy police car. She loved reading before it was “cool,” and where others followed the rules, Bianca followed her intuition.

Raised in a hardworking family, she noticed how the worries of her more privileged classmates felt almost surreal. While they stressed over taxes, she thought, “At least you have enough money to pay them.” Smart and curious, she didn’t feel the need to chase the hardest or most prestigious path. Instead, she chose joy over expectations.

Bianca’s love for performing showed early. She would put on shows with her little sister and dreamed of being famous. But behind her confident exterior was a deep longing to feel seen and understood. Her boldness wasn’t just who she was - it became a layer of protection. Loud, expressive, opinionated but beneath it all, someone simply longing to connect.

At 24, everything shifted. A long-term relationship ended, and with it, the future she had envisioned crumbled.

Get to know

She had thought she knew the path: growing old together, starting a family at 30. Suddenly, she had to start over. Her life choices - her entire “life path”- had been intertwined with his. And then came a quiet but powerful realization: “I don’t even listen to my own music.” Her Spotify was filled with his playlists, a small but telling symbol that she had been living someone else’s story, not her own.

Then came the turning point. Bianca booked a solo trip to the U.S., rented a minivan, and drove from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Heartbroken, but free. It was on that lonely, open road that she discovered something new: spirituality. She devoured books by Oprah Winfrey, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Brené Brown. She learned that your own path only begins when you consciously choose to walk it. That you don’t need to see the whole road ahead. That vulnerability isn’t weakness, but strength.

Now, at 31, Bianca looks back on her journey with softness and clarity. She knows her brain has always worked a little differently, ADHD gave a name to that long-felt sense of “otherness.” Today, she wears color not as a rebellious statement, but because it feels good. She no longer pushes against the current - she flows with her own rhythm.

And from this deeply personal journey in combination with years of experience in radio and podcasting, Studio Levensweg was born: a space where real, authentic personal stories are heard, honored and celebrated.

All in the form of personalized audio documentaries for people - and their loved ones to share, reflect, and acknowledge the unique path they’ve walked. Not the path that was expected of them, but the one they’ve carved out themselves, step by step. A unique path worth celebrating.

"Because in the end, this is what life is all about according to Bianca: you don’t just walk your path - you build it yourself."

Because life, despite what the classic board game ‘the game of life’ tells us, is not about ticking boxes or following one fixed route. It’s not about studying, landing a career, buying a house, starting a family, and retiring with the most money. Life doesn’t move in neat little squares. It twists, turns, stumbles, and restarts. We take wrong turns, make unexpected choices, and sometimes walk roads that were never truly ours - until one day we stop and realize: “This is my path. This is my story.”

Studio Levensweg was born from that realization. From the belief that every human story is unique, valuable, and worth recording. Not as a polished summary, but as a living, breathing podcast - a time capsule of your life, or the life of someone you love. Because our own stories matter. And the stories of our parents, friends, and partners shape us just as deeply.

“At Studio Levensweg, it’s not about perfection,” says Bianca. “It’s about truth.

The unexpected detours, the defining decisions, the quiet moments. It’s about the journey that only reveals itself once you dare to walk it. Your path - or that of someone you love - deserves a voice.”

Because in the end, there is nothing more powerful than a story told from the heart. And nothing more beautiful than the reminder: you don’t just walk your path—you create it.

Then came a realization: “In the outside world, I feel scared - of opinions, rejection, never being enough. But when I draw, that fear disappears. I feel calm. Whole. It’s the only thing I can do completely alone, and feel completely safe. My inner critic goes quiet, just for a while. In my drawings, everything is possible. That’s when I understood, maybe it’s time to feel safe in the outside world too.”
